1001 Nights
Rooted in the rich cultural inheritance of the country of 1001 nights, the new iranian illustration allies the exoticism and the chromatic and graphic exuberance typical of these latitudes, an expression of great contemporary nature.
15th March to 11th May

Andam Lobos à Solta no Barreiro
In 20 powerful magnificent images, João Fazenda gives life to the Sergei Prokofiev classic in an original version told by João Paulo Cotrim. Simultaneously, an exhibition of student works from a local school takes place.
08th May to 31st June

An imaginary Library
Most of the authors, illustrators, editors and other “people’s books” have their imaginary dream book.
Inspirited by this idea, Barbara Schariot, director during 15 years of International Youth Library of Munique, has challenged 72 illustrators from 30 countries to create a book’s layer, real or invented, that they would like to illustrate.
